High up in the saddle
In Alta Badia horses are part of a deeply rooted tradition. Countless stables and riding centres offer outings and are there to help and advise you with plenty of suggestions for fabulous excursions. The Puez-Odle and Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Reserves, known for their splendid natural scenery, are particularly rewarding outings and delight visitors summer and winter.
Rock faces to be conquered
Nothing for those who have a fear of heights
Alta Badia is located in the midst of the precipitous rock faces of the Dolomites and is therefore almost the perfect place to spend a holiday scaling so many climbing walls. A range of attractive climbing crags suit the needs of beginners, as well as giving ambitious climbers a lasting adrenalin kick. The ascent of fixed-rope climbing routes, of which there are many in the Dolomites, requires a little mountaineering experience and in particular the necessary equipment. If you have both, you will not be able to tear yourself away from unforgettable experiences on the summits.
